Project Proposal for Internship Positions

CINTRA (CNRS International NTU Thales Research Alliance), which is an international laboratory belonging to CNRS, The Nanyang University of Singapore and Thales, opens new Internship positions.

The positions are to be held in the three research thrusts of CINTRA:

- CarTech: Carbon based nanoTechnologies
- NWTech: NanoWire based nanoTechnologies
- PMN: Photonics Materials & Nanostructures

All the proposals are open and will be defined according to strong motivation and skill of candidates.
In any case, candidates are expected to have interest in physics, electronics, photonics and/or nanotechnologies.

Interested candidates are kindly advised to send us the following set of documents with an e-mail subject “CINTRA_2012_Internship” followed by the candidate’s full name.

Summer Research Internship (SRI) Programme

The Summer Research Internship (SRI) Programme is a university wide Research Programme initiated to stimulate a culture of research for the overseas undergraduates.

Participants for this programme will develop research interest, strong sense of cross-cultural intelligence, gain a network of friends and a better understanding of our nation.

Eligible overseas undergraduate students will be given an allowance, and are expected to fulfill a 8-week research attachment comprising project work at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and presentation of their research project at a closing ceremony. All participants will receive a certificate issued by NTU upon completion of the programme.
