SINGA
The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) Programme is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Students will be supervised by distinguished and world-renowned researchers in these labs. Upon successful completion, students will be conferred a PhD degree by NTU.
SINGA provides attractive monthly stipend over 4 years of PhD studies, which can support student comfortably.

Signing of the NTU-UTT Joint PhD Implementation Agreement (28 Jun 2010)
The prepared Implementation Agreement was signed by Prof Lam Khin Yong on behalf of NTU, and Prof Christian Lerminiaux on behalf of UTT. Both parties agreed that the exchange between the 2 Institutions should now be expedited.
UTT (Université de Technologie de Troyes)
The Troyes University of Technology is a state university which was set up in 1994. The city of Troyes is located in the Champagne Region. With 2,500 students, the Université de technologie de Troyes or UTT is one of the 10 biggest engineering schools in France. The UTT trains its engineers in Information Systems, Networks and Telecommunications, Industrial Systems, Mechanics and Materials. UTT also offers a Masters in Sciences, Technologies and Health, in 9 disciplines and a PhD in 5 disciplines.
The development policy of UTT is based on high level research, known as Carnot and is focused on Risk Management in Science and Technologies. The university also establishes itself in the international scene through various partnership agreements. The UTT is a member of the Board of Directors of French Engineering Schools, and the Board of the Grandes Ecoles. It is also part of the French Technological Universities Network.
Signing of the NTU-ParisTech Joint PhD Implementation Agreement (29 Jun 2010)
The MOU between NTU and ParisTech was pre-signed by NTU’s Provost, Prof Bertil Andersson on behalf of NTU and at the signing ceremony, the President of ParisTech, Mr Cyrille van Effenterre signed on behalf of ParisTech. Prof Lam Khin Yong signed the agreement as a witness to the MOU.
ParisTech (Paris Institute of Technology)
ParisTech is one of the collegiate universities in France. It gathers 12 of the best French engineering schools, covering nearly the whole spectrum of engineering science, and 1 business school, aiming to be of comparable status to the most famous universities of technology around the world.
