Cutting-edge collaboration between France and Singapore

CINTRA is a French-Singaporean international joint laboratory, a CNRS UMI (International Mixed Unit) under the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, with three partners : the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) - Institute for Engineering and systems Science; Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the French company Thales.

CINTRA is located at NTU’s Research Techno Plaza and brings together researchers and students from France and Singapore.

Dedication to excellence
CINTRA aims to harness the latest in science and technology to develop innovation in nanotechnologies for nanoelectronics and nanophotonics. The scientific policy is based on 3 research thrusts (CMDN2MS, NPT) mainly dedicated to 3 application areas (nanopackaging, multifunctional materials & devices, microwave photonics & sensing).

> To focus research on nanoscale photonics, nanomaterials, electronic devices.
> To develop innovative technologies for integrating electronics and photonics on a chip towards heterogeneous intergration.
